Spring is officially here and what better time than to dig into your closet and do some refreshing! With Sevenoaks Exclusive Shopping Event & Accessories Swap just around the corner it’s time to say goodbye to those loved accessories that you’ve just never had an abundance of use for and trade them in for new-to-you accessories. The event takes place at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre on Saturday May 4, 6:30-9pm. It is going to be so much fun!

There are lots of prizes being given away, including Purdy's Gift Baskets, Gift Cards to retailers, and the grand prize $1000 shopping spree!

Accessories include: Gently used -Hats, Belts, Purses, Watches, Jewellery, Scarves, Sunglasses, Umbrellas, Shawls, Neck and Bow ties.

Tickets are $15 ($10 goes directly to your charity of choice!)

makes 2

3 cups watermelon, cubed and frozen
1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
2 tablespoons agave nectar or maple syrup
Zest from 2 limes
Juice from 2 limes (about 4 tablespoons)
1/2 cup water

Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding more water as needed to keep the mixture moving. For margaritas: add 3-4 shots of silver tequila

Concentrate the buttons in the middle of the vase― when it’s filled with flowers, the upper edge won’t be visible.

YOU’LL NEED:

Tin can
Sandpaper
Spray paint
Buttons
Hot-glue gun
1. Sand down the rim of the can until it’s smooth, with no jagged edges.

2. Paint the can and allow to dry

3. Gently rough up the surface with sandpaper to help the glue adhere.
